* As a list owner of a restricted discussion list for spouses I see a need for discussion lists that are not restricted (do not require verification that the LE spouse is an officer ) to join. However, my personal inclination is to caution those of you thinking about joining a list that does not require verification of the LE spouse's status, without that requirement you don't know who else is on that list. If you have reservations about this fact, I suggest you contact the list owner of that particular list (should be able to be found in the links to the list or site) and speak to them about your concerns. ~Mary L.
